I will guide you to the world of ORIGAMI, the traditional folding paper art and entertainment from Japan. Join
me in the process of this lovely handcraft with your favorite color paper!

I will pick up a few popular ORIGAMI recipes and go through folding processes, from easy one to a bit more
advanced ones, emphasizing basic skills. The recipes include ones specific to each season and something
meaningful to Japanese culture.

With my background in cultural fields, I aim to share basic ORIGAMI skills with Japanese culture behind. You
will hear a short story about culture and traditions associated with each ORIGAMI item before folding it.

I am also looking forward to interacting with your, and sharing the joy of creating things together.

・This program suits people older than 11, who have no or little experience in Origami and/or have average craft
making experience.
・For people confident in craft making, this program might feel too easy. For children younger than 12 with
little Origami experience, it can feel too challenging.
